Environmental Education

Pupils are helped to become aware of and responsible for the wider environment and they gain knowledge of change and decay, pollution as well as conditions conducive to flora and fauna. The grounds offer an adventure area and a picnic area. We also have two hard playgrounds where the children grow flowers in planters. We are currently developing a school garden and have a pond, which are used by the children to support their studies. This year we have also run an Eco Club which has proved very popular, alongside a food recycling/compost scheme to reduce waste and landfill.
